Students seeking the Bachelor of Science in Computer Science and Technology must complete the University’s REAL Curriculum Requirements, the Degree Core Requirements, the Bachelor of Science Requirements, and the courses required for at least one concentration. Students must choose at least one of the four concentrations within the major: Computer Science, Database, Networks, and Software Engineering.

| Program Requirement Notes | Program Requirement Notes Each student majoring in the Computer Science Concentration of the Computer Science and Technology degree must take the Major Field Test in Computer Science or an equivalent exam as determined by the department during her or his last semester. Each student majoring in the Computer Science Concentration of the Computer Science and Technology degree must earn a grade of “C” or better in each information technology course applied toward the major. All majors require a minimum 2.0 GPA in the major in order to be eligible for graduation. |

| Is This College Right For Me? | Radford University is a medium-sized residential college campus of just over 7,500 students. Located the city of Radford in southwest Virginia, we offer 76 academic majors in six academic colleges. Incoming freshmen are required to live on campus their first two years; incoming transfer students do not have an on-campus requirement but are able to live on campus should they so choose. Opportunities to get involved on campus are numerous and include more than 200 student organizations, Division I athletic teams, and plenty of outdoor adventure trip planned by the Student Recreation and Wellness Center. |
