November 2025:

Transfer Virginia welcomes Virginia Tech as a full partner. This release also includes the following updates:

• Home page updates of the Transfer Virginia portal make it easier to access major features of the portal such as Transfer Guides, Uniform Certificate of General Studies, etc.
• Adds the ability for students and advisors to see credits for exams at any partner institution via a new menu option, Credits for Exams, under Transfer Tools.
• A full data refresh for all transfer partners in the portal.
• Several smaller functional enhancements and maintenance fixes for reported issues.

July 2025:

This update includes a full data refresh for all transfer partners in the portal. This release also implements 'Virginia Evaluated Credentials' as a credential type that can be added to portfolios for college credits and is a list of all industry certifications that have been evaluated by Virginia schools for college credit. This credential type replaces the previous type of 'Certifications'. The release also includes functional enhancements to the portal and maintenance fixes for reported issues.

November 2024:

This update includes a full data refresh for all transfer partners in the portal. We also welcomed three new Full Partners - Averett University, Regent University, and Virginia State University (an HBCU) - bringing the number of Virginia schools that are Full Partners to 55. The release also includes functional enhancements to the portal and maintenance fixes for reported issues.
