How are Dual Enrollment Credits Treated VCCS courses taken through dual enrollment are treated the same as VCCS courses taken after high school and are subject to the same transfer-credit evaluation policies.
If You Complete an Associates Degree in High School Apply as a freshman. Students who complete a transferable associate degree concurrently with high school graduation are not eligible for guaranteed admission under this GAA. If admitted, they receive the benefits of the transferable associate degree, including satisfaction of the REAL Curriculum; an official college transcript showing degree completion is required.
Key Additional Requirements SCHEV-approved transfer-oriented AA, AS, or AA&S degree (including only approved General Studies transfer degrees); 25% residency at the degree-granting VCCS college; good academic and disciplinary standing; prior Radford students who transfer to VCCS are not eligible under this GAA; official transcripts from every college and a final transcript showing the associate degree are required; enroll at Radford within one year of degree completion; admission to a specific major/program is not guaranteed and some programs have separate application processes.
