The Social Science Associate of Science degree represents the first two years of many four-year college or university social science majors. A challenging core of requirements is augmented by transfer electives, which will be chosen from the humanities,social sciences, natural sciences and mathematics.

Outcomes

After completing the first two years at MGCC, the student will be able to transfer into the third year of a four-year college or university social science major. The Social Science Associate of Science degree supports transfer to study psychology, history, sociology, social work, economics, anthropology, and other social science programs in four-year universities.
