Beginning Anthropology and Archaeology students start by taking introductory courses in each of the four fields of American anthropology. They also select peoples courses such as North American Indians and topics courses such as Folklore, all while completing their Civitae courses, before moving onto more advance studies.

Class sizes are smaller than average--our Civitae Core Curriculum classes are capped at 25 students--throughout our more than 100 majors, minors, and concentrations.
