Considerations for Selecting Degree Student will have a mixture of classroom, clinical and laboratory experiences.
Considerations When Selecting Courses

All nursing courses must be taken in order

  • Create a schedule for all required courses, pay attention to prerequisites and when courses are offered, complete your first math and English courses in your first year
  • Connect with an advisor at your community college and Marymount University within your first year via College Connect
Program Requirements Beyond Specific Courses All students complete clinical hours in one to three courses per semester. Students are required to provide their own transportation to local area clinical sites. Due to student work with direct care patients, there are multiple health requirements that must be met prior to entering the clinical environment. Students also must do a background check, complete a urine drug screen and hold an AHA BLS CPR certification.
