As you think about transferring into MBU coursework specific to education requirements for licensure, be sure to include two science courses that have a lab with each being at the introductory level of the content. The two science courses also cannot be in the same area (for example you cannot have both in biology). English courses should include a composition course but also at least one literature course for a total of three courses required for licensure. The two mathematics courses chosen should be at the college level and include at least one course at the College Algebra level or higher. Virginia state and local government is another good choice to take at the community college.
