The College of Architecture, Arts, and Design is a community of courageous architects, designers, artists, and creators of communities who care about — and work to improve — our shared natural and built environments. Considerations for Selecting Degree The Theatre Arts major at Virginia Tech is accredited by the National Association of Schools of Theatre (NAST). The program offers multiple study abroad options including Study Abroad Shakespeare and Study Abroad London.
Considerations When Selecting Courses

Doing More With Your Degree Notable graduates have gone into industries such as: Professional Theatre Acting, Directing, Design Areas, Management, Technician and Touring or Film/TV/Multi Media Acting, Directing, Production Areas, and Management or Corporate Entertainment for Trade Shows, Industrials, Concerts, Cruise Ships, Disney & Theme Parks, Private Events/Parties/Weddings or Architectural & Consulting for Theatrical/Film/TV Venue Construction & Renovation.
Program Successes & Highlights 10:1 Student to Faculty Ratio. Three Degree Options to choose from: Theatre General, Theatre Design & Technology, or Theatre Performance. The Theatre Arts major offers students an easy opportunity to double major or minor. More than a third of our students choose to double major.
