Considerations for Selecting Degree Do you want to make a difference in people’s lives? The University of Lynchburg offers an art therapy degree that will help you do that. You’ll learn how to use your creativity and imagination to create therapeutic environments for people with mental health needs, as well as those who are grieving or struggling with addiction. Art therapists can work in hospitals, schools, prisons, and more — but they also have the opportunity to start their own practice if they choose. With this degree, you could be making a positive impact on someone’s life every day. It doesn’t matter where you are or where you want to go — there’s always room for one more therapist.
