This program is designed for persons seeking a strong foundation upon which to launch a career. Businesses change and adapt frequently to market, technological and competitive forces and so must their workforce. This need for change places great emphasis on the importance of people who are problem solvers, collaborators, and communicators, to enable a rapid response to the forces of change. This degree is designed for persons who seek full-time employment immediately upon completion of the AAS in Management program as well as those who seek to ready themselves for the next stage of their career or those seeking to launch their own business. The curriculum is adaptable to varying career interests. For example, there is a track for those seeking a project management oriented position and tracks for those interested in entrepreneurship and first-level supervisory positions.

Applying for Guaranteed Admissions Virginia's community colleges offer students more than the opportunity to earn a degree or certificate; they provide a gateway to the Commonwealth's four-year colleges.
