How are Dual Enrollment Credits Treated Dual enrollment courses are processed using our standard criteria for assessing transfer credit
If You Complete an Associates Degree in High School Students earning an associate degree concurrent with high school graduation (sometimes referenced as dual enrollment or Early College) are not eligible for admission under the terms of this agreement.
Key Additional Requirements To participate in this GAA, students must complete a VCCS A.S. or AA&S degree. Some VCCS General Studies degrees are considered transfer-focused and are therefore eligible, while others are not. Students must complete six credit hours of English, six credit hours of social science, 16 credit hours of science, and 16 credit hours of math. The Agriculture and Applied Economics major does not require chemistry but recommends six credit hours of accounting. Letter of intent not required.
