EGMN 102 Engineering Statics Semester course; 3 lecture hours. 3 credits. Prerequisite: MATH 200 with a minimum grade of C or by permission of the instructor. Concurrent prerequisite: PHYS 207 or by permission of the instructor. The theory and application of engineering mechanics applied to the design and analysis of rigid structures. Equilibrium of two- and three-dimensional bodies. The study of forces and their effects. Applications to engineering systems.
