Considerations for Selecting Degree The Stem at Work Career Studies Certificate is designed to increase the knowledge, skills, and marketability of students who seek to pursue immediate work in fields requiring a foundation of science, engineering technology, or mathematics knowledge, as well as preparation for STEM-H (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics or Health) careers.
Considerations When Selecting Courses

Students must select a course for each course requirement from the applicable required course list.

  • Create a schedule for all required courses, pay attention to prerequisites and when courses are offered, complete your first math and English courses in your first year
  • Connect with an advisor at your community college and Rappahannock Community College within your first year
