This career studies certificate program provides entry-level training in electrical and mechanical service and repair applications. The curriculum provides a broad range of experiences in industrial service and repair shops. The curriculum includes introductory courses in air conditioning and refrigeration, fluid power, mechanisms, industrial safety, and machine shop operations. Upon completion of the program, students are employable in jobs such as entry-level building maintenance workers; maintenance mechanics; and installation, maintenance, and repair workers.
