This one-year program prepares students for entry-level jobs in computer networking. Students will also learn the material required for Network+ and Security+ certifications.
Outcomes
By the completion of this program, students will be expected to demonstrate an introductory level of competency in the following skills:
- Demonstrate the knowledge and practical skills of Open Systems Interconnection Model, layers, and functions relevant to an IT environment.
- Communicate effectively in IT environments using research, writing, and presentation skills.
- Show knowledge of configuration of services, including DNS and DHCP.
