ARTS261: Photography I
One hour lecture; three hours lab. Provides an introduction to analog black and white art photography. Students learn the use of cameras and darkroom equipment, are introduced to methods of film exposure and development, develop silver-based printing skills, explore how to analyze aesthetic criteria, and examine historical figures in the medium.
