  • The student will have an understanding of the Sociological Imagination and how individual experiences and families are influenced particularly with regards to relationships, marriages, and sexuality within various cultural contexts. Target overall student
  • The student will understand the stages of development for relationships and families in today’s society along with a historical context from which today’s models have grown. Target overall student success rate is 70%
  • The student will be able to explain the sociological paradigms and apply these theoretical approaches to the social institution of the family. Target overall student success rate is 70%.
  • The student will be able to describe the stresses faced by individuals and families today as a result of patterns of communication, dating, marriage, reproduction, and societal forces. Target overall student success rate is 70%.
