  • Solve linear equations, linear inequalities, absolute value equations and systems of linear equations and applications, graph linear equations, write equations for lines, and use formulas for slope, slope-intercept, point-slope, distance, and midpoint as n
  • Solve, graph, and solve applications of quadratic functions, solve polynomial equations, compute with complex numbers, and graph cubic functions.
  • Work with exponential and logarithmic functions, including solving equations, graphing, converting between exponential and logarithmic forms, and expanding and contracting logarithmic expressions.
  • Identify and evaluate functions, state their domains and ranges, and find combinations, compositions, and inverses of functions. Sketch transformations of several types of functions, including quadratic, cubic, absolute value, and square root functions.
  • Simplify rational and radical expressions, and solve rational equations, radical equations, and problems using direct, inverse, and joint variation.
