An elementary statistics course designed to give students a working knowledge of the ideas and tools of practical statistics and their usefulness in problem solving and decision making. topics include graphical displays of data, measures of central tendency and variability, sampling distributions, and confidence intervals and hypothesis testing for means and proportions. Additional topics may include elementary probability concepts, correlation and regression, or Chi Square analysis.
