BUSN231: Applied Business Statistics

This course introduces students to the strategic value of data and statistical analysis within the context of real-world business problems. Students also learn the value of statistical information in making informed judgments and business process improvements. Specifically, the course will concentrate on the application of statistics to understanding and improving business processes through the use of practical knowledge-based tools, regression models, process experimentation, and statistical inference. The student will also become familiar with different types of data collection and measurements. Students are strongly advised to take this course as soon as the prerequisites are completed.
