BA in Human and Organizational Development prepares students for positions including human resource development professionals, organizational and employee development professionals, instructional designers or talent development professionals. Program focuses on providing students with knowledge and skills to plan and develop learning programs and interventions for adult learners using sound pedagogy in variety of organizational settings. Students learn to assess and evaluate adult learning and adapt instructional programs based on needs of learners and organization. Through comprehensive learning and development experiences in class settings and required internship, students gain understanding of working with diverse groups of learners.

Associate Transfer Degree Completion: Completion results in all lower-division general education requirements met.

Dual Enrollment - Completion of Associate Degree in HS: Results in 60 credits applied and VCU general education satisfied. High school students apply as freshman for orientation purposes.

Credit for Prior Learning: VCU accepts AP, IB, Cambridge, CLEP, DANTES, military credits.

Catalog Year: VCU honors degree requirements from Undergraduate Bulletin at time of first post-high-school enrollment. Students stay enrolled at community college max 4 years, enroll at VCU within 1 year of completing associate.
