Why Study Business at Randolph College?
-
The Business major is offered within the Department of Economics and Business at Randolph College. The Economics and Business curricula emphasize problem-solving, critical thinking, data analysis and modeling, the understanding of theoretical relationships, the assessment of business and consumer decision-making, the relationship of the economy and the environment, and the relationship of the government and the private sector.
-
An important aspect of the Economics and Business curriculum is the generation of original research. Students are exposed to data analysis in their earliest coursework and gain an understanding of research design as they progress through their upper-division courses.
-
Students in Economics and Business have many opportunities to explore their academic interests through internships or funding from Randolph College's RISE grant.
