Purpose: The Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, & Refrigeration Technician Assistant, Career Studies Certificate program is designed to build upon the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning, & Refrigeration HVAC&R Technician Helper Career Studies Certificate (CSC). Writing and math courses develop additional knowledge and skills preferred by employers. The Technician Assistant CSC is the second level of a three-level pathway that leads to an Associate of Applied Science degree in Technical Studies.

Transfer Guidance Element What You Need to Know
Associate Transfer Degree Completion Students must earn 25% of their credits at ESCC for an Associate degree from our institution. Students who transfer to ESCC with a completed Associate or Bachelor's degree will be awarded SDV 100 and will have their transcript evaluated for other course transfer.

Completion of Associate Degree Concurrent with High School ESCC does not distinguish between students earning an associate degree concurrently, while in high school, or after high school graduation.
