Considerations for Selecting Degree The Construction Diploma in Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning is designed to teach the technical skills needed for employment in the HVAC field. This diploma is a G3 program with stackable certifications. Students can earn nationally recognized credentials through the EPA 608 Universal Refrigerant Recovery, Employment Ready Certification for Heat Pump, Employment Ready Certification for Electrical, Employment Ready Certification for Brazing/Soldering/Flaring, and A2L Refrigerant Safety Certification. Completion of Level I and II certifications in the first and second semesters will count for one year of experience needed to sit for a Journeyman’s License.

Associate Transfer Degree Completion Students who transfer with a completed Associate degree will be awarded SDV 100 and will have their transcript evaluated for other individual course transfer. Students who transfer with a completed Bachelor degree from a U.S. college or university will be awarded SDV 100, ENG 111 and ENG 112. The transcript will be evaluated for other individual course transfer.
