Career Studies Certificate in Mechatronics Technology

Mechatronics is a combination of Electrical and Mechanical Engineering Technology. It has applications in Advanced Manufacturing, Aeronautics, Medical Technology, and other industries that utilize Robotics and Automation. This certificate prepares students for the Siemens Mechatronic Systems Certification Program (SMSCP) Level 1 Exam. Successful completion of this Certification is required for graduation. Students will also have the opportunity to earn additional Festo Industry 4.0 Certification Program (FI4.0CP) Certifications that are embedded into several of the classes. Graduates can seek job placement with local industry partners, or they may enroll in the Industry 4.0 certificate to earn additional industry certifications.
