Pre-Requisites: HS chemistry & Biology, ENG 111 & MTH 154 eligibility, TEAS, Shadowing. Program requires attendance to and participation in classes, labs, and clinical assignments. Requires travel. Requires additional purchase of software, uniforms, markers, society and club membership, dosimetry service, textbooks, and licensure/certification exam fee.

Considerations When Selecting Courses

Pre-requisites: HS level biology and chemistry; ENG 111 and MTH 154 eligibility; TEAS AH test; Shadowing; RAD courses are sequenced within the curriculum and cannot be taken out of sequence.

  • Create a schedule for all required courses, pay attention to prerequisites and when courses are offered, complete your first math and English courses in your first year
  • Connect with an advisor at your community college and Southwest Virginia Community College within your first year
