PSYC350: Psychopathology

This course is an overview of mental and emotional disorders found in adults. The impact and interaction of biological, psychological, and environmental causes will be examined. Issues of gender, race, and culture will also be discussed and evaluated along with the recent research in pharmacological and psychological treatments. The insanity defense, right to treatment, and involuntary commitment will be reviewed. Prerequisites: PSYC 200 and PSYC 201.
