TEDU390: MOVEMENT EDUCATION

TEDU 390 Movement Education Semester course; 2 lecture and 2 laboratory hours (delivered online, face-to-face or hybrid). 3 credits. Prerequisite: TEDU 101. This service-learning course will examine the physiological changes that occur in the brain as a result of moderate physical activity and the relationship to increased cognition. Students will also examine how to develop movement-based lessons to complement existing curricula across all content areas. Students enrolled in this course will receive a movement education certification upon completion of the course requirements.
