Intended for students who are not ready to begin pre-calculus, but who require an understanding of those principles and methods of algebra that are prerequisite for the study of statistics and applied mathematics of the social sciences as well as pre-calculus. (Hours earned count toward graduation, but course does not meet General Education Core Requirements.)
