AH101: Introduction to Art History: Ancient to Medieval

A survey of world painting, architecture, and sculpture, from Prehistory to the 14th century, highlighting works of art from the Washington, DC region. This course will investigate meaning in the visual arts and the development of artistic style within an historical context. A minimum grade of C is needed for this class to fulfill any major requirement in the School of Design and Art. Liberal Arts Core Designation: Fine and Performing Arts - FPA. (3)
