ARTS363: INTERMEDIATE CERAMICS
Students will explore functional and sculptural techniques through handbuilding and wheel-throwing, as well as basic claybody, glaze and firing theory. Students will also develop a basic understanding of the historical and cultural aspects of ceramics. The class includes glaze chemistry, firing procedures, ceramic history and contemporary ceramics. Prerequisites: Permission of instructor.
