Brief review of the basic concepts of algebra; equations and inequalities (absolute value, polynomial, radical, and rational); complex numbers; functions and their graphs; distance and midpoint formulas; circle; polynomial functions; modeling using variation; and systems of equations in two and three variables. (No credit is given for this couse if a student has satisfactorily completed MTH 1110 or above).
