This is the second part of a two-course sequence in basic Latin. The course continues the study of vocabulary and Latin grammar from Elementary Latin I, with simple passage translation and composition, together with aspects of Roman culture and history, with emphasis on mythology. Also included is the study of Latin as a source of terminology in the liberal arts and sciences. Placement in this course is determined by score range on the Latin Placement Test required of all students wishing to register for Latin at the University of Lynchburg
