ART156: Drawing: Techniques And Traditions

An introduction to the fundamentals of drawing with an emphasis on representational drawing skills, perception and traditional drawing media. Students are exposed to the historical aspects of the discipline of drawing and to a variety of traditional techniques and processes. Learning involves demonstrations, critiques, and discussions of artists, periods, and styles. Lab fee required. Students must attend one outside of class Art Department event during the semester.
