ASL102: American Sign Language Ii

This introductory course aims to further develop students’ basic skills in the use of American Sign Language, building upon the basic grammatical, linguistic, communicative and cultural concepts learned in ASL 101. Emphasis is upon further acquisition of comprehension, production and interactional skills in ASL with an emphasis on increasing knowledge and understanding of the Deaf culture, exposure to ASL literature and art.
