ASL221: Introduction to American Sign Language (ASL) and Deaf Culture

Three hours lecture. Cross-Listed: COSD 221. Introduces cultural awareness, comprehension and production skills, and emphasizes basic sentence structure in American Sign Language with a focus on interactive communicative competence. Note(s): General Education designated course. Students cannot receive credit for both COSD 221 and ASL 221.
