An examination of the research methods used in the fields of psychology. Topics include introductions to and evaluations of observational, relational and experimental research methods and designs. Ethics and research, communication and research, the development of research ideas and the reliability and validity of research are also examined. (1) Lecture: 3 hrs/wk.
