This is the second course in the progress of introducing students to American Sign Language (ASL) and Deaf culture. The course continues with the development of expressive and receptive skills and of ASL vocabulary and the syntax, semantics and pragmatics of the language. The course continues exploration of cultural issues in the Deaf community.
