(With GREK 101) This year-long course introduces the elements of classical Attic Greek to attain a knowledge of Greek grammar and vocabulary to enhance reading ability. The readings of simple prose and poetry will introduce the cultures of Archaic, Classical, and Hellenistic Greece. Fulfills the language requirement for those students who have not previously studied Greek. Open to first-year students. Not offered in 2022-23. (LAN)
