MUSC260: Voice Techniques
Principles of voice production and pedagogy. Topics include breathing, posture, registration, voice classification (adolescent through adult), principles of resonance, the physiology of singing, selecting vocalizes and warm-up techniques, vowel purity, and articulation. Students teach in one-on-one and class settings and are required to complete a total of six hours of observation in the public schools.
