How are Dual Enrollment Credits Treated JMU may accept college credit that is earned while a student is concurrently enrolled in high school, called Dual Enrollment Credit. Each course taken at another institution is evaluated individually, and credit will be allowed only for equivalent college courses offered at JMU in which a grade of "C" or better has been earned.
If You Complete an Associates Degree in High School Student must take at least 24 credit hours after high school graduation
Key Additional Requirements Students must:
  • Have completed at least one course in each of the admissions core areas (English/language, math, lab science and social science) before submitting an application.
  • Have earned no more than two D or F grades and they must be repeated (with a C or higher) before submitting an application.
  • Have completed at least 45 credits at the time of application
  • Meet all GAA requirements at all schools if they have attended multiple colleges.
  • Submit a Letter of Admissions Intent
