How are Dual Enrollment Credits Treated | No distinction will be made by E&H regarding college courses applicable to the transfer-oriented associate degree that are taken through dual enrollment arrangements with high schools for purposes of course equivalencies. |
If You Complete an Associates Degree in High School | The associate degree must be earned beyond high school graduation to qualify for exemption from lower level ETLA requirements. |
Key Additional Requirements | In addition, credit for courses completed through the International Baccalaureate or Advanced Placement programs will be accepted according to stated policies which can be found in the E&H Academic Catalog. E&H waives the application fee. Completion of the VHCC transfer-oriented associate degree program facilitates completion of the E&H Core Curriculum requirements, as demonstrated in the attached Addendum. E&H will consider GAA students who enroll at E&H on the same basis as native students for admission to competitive programs, registration, financial aid, scholarships, student housing, parking, and any other opportunities open to native students at the junior level. Through the community college GAA Contact, students can obtain the name and contact information for the E&H Transfer Admission Counselor, who will provide transfer students with appropriate advisement information. |
