Eastern Mennonite University

Harrisonburg, VA
See EMU Programs

Eastern Mennonite University (EMU) offers rigorous academic study at the undergraduate, graduate and seminary level. More than 1,800 students study at our main campus in Harrisonburg, Virginia; at our Lancaster, Pennsylvania site; and online. EMU is grounded in values including service to others, peacemaking, cross-cultural engagement and sustainability, all of which prepare graduates to serve and lead in a global context.
  • At EMU, we believe in and celebrate the power of community as we learn in classrooms, across campus and around the globe. We begin to see the possibilities together. We honor our differences and care for each other. We listen, explore and create. Together, our ideas are transformed, our assumptions tested, our values strengthened, our faith activated and our lives enriched. At EMU, leaders are developed, mentored, supported and challenged to make the world a better place TOGETHER.
