| Program Successes & Highlights | Upon Completion of this program, students will be expected to demonstrate an intermediate level of competency in the following skills: Demonstrate a fundamental understanding of introductory concepts related to human anatomy and physiology. Explain the general characteristics of microorganisms and their relationships to individual and community health. Evaluate and communicate the relationship between nutrition, human development, and lifestyle in disease prevention. Interpret medical terms and abbreviations. Apply quantitative skills relevant to future practitioners in health science careers. |

What If I Have An Associate Degree Or Credit For Prior Learning?

| Associate Transfer Degree Completion | Students who transfer with a completed Associate degree will be awarded SDV 100 and will have their transcript evaluated for other individual course transfer. Students who transfer with a completed Bachelor degree from a U.S. college or university will be awarded SDV 100, ENG 111 and ENG 112. The transcript will be evaluated for other individual course transfer. |
Completion of Associate Degree Concurrent with High School | Students earning an associate degree while in high school are not eligible for guaranteed admission programs. All courses are evaluated and transferred as applicable to your degree. |
