Automotive Analysis and Repair program is designed for people who seek employment in the Automotive Industry. The program is Master Certified in all eight automotive areas by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence and has received the Award for Excellence in Post-Secondary Vocational Education from the Motor Vehicle Manufacturers of the U.S. and the American Vocational Association. Possible jobs include automotive technician in an auto dealership or private auto service shop.

AUT coursese are Fall start only. General Education courses can be taken anytime.

  • Create a schedule for all required courses, pay attention to prerequisites and when courses are offered, complete your first math and English courses in your first year
  • Connect with an advisor at your community college and Blue Ridge Community College within your first year
Program Requirements Beyond Specific Courses Valid driver's license required. Enrollment is limited. The Automotive Analysis and Repair program is Master Certified in all eight Automotive areas by the National Institute for Automotive Service Excellence and has received the Award for Excellence in Post-Secondary Vocational Education from the Motor Vehicle Manufacturers of the U.S. and the American Vocational Association.

Associate Transfer Degree Completion SDV 100, College Success Skills, will be granted to all students who have completed an associate degree or baccalaureate degree from a regionally accredited college or university.

BRCC will award applicable transfer credit for courses completed at other post-secondary educational institutions, provided certain criteria are met.
