GREK101: Beginning Ancient Greek I
This course introduces students to Attic Greek, the primary dialect of ancient Greek society, and to Greek literature, history, culture, and society. Students will learn Greek grammar and vocabulary, learn to translate Greek accurately and efï¬ciently, and come to a deeper appreciation of Greek culture. (Note: Students must complete three credit hours of a second language literacy course at the 200-level or higher to satisfy the Liberal Learning Foundations Second Language Literacy requirement.)
