PHA127: Foundations II

This course covers components of cell biology, human genetics, hematology, immunology, eicosanoids, and virology. Studies basic concepts of drug action and the chemical properties, primary pharmacological actions, mechanisms of drug action, routes of administration, disposition, contraindications, adverse reactions, clinically significant drug interactions, and drug disease interactions of adrenocorticoids, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs, disease-modifying antirheumatic drugs, non-opioid analgesics, basic virology, and antiviral/antiretroviral agents
