If You Complete an Associates Degree in High School	Students who complete dual enrollment courses or earn a degree concurrently with high school graduation will apply as first-year students.
Key Additional Requirements	Be a Marlin even before you transfer! To make students' transition to Batten University even more seamless, Batten University has created the Marlin Fast Pass concurrent enrollment program. Virginia community college students who declare their intent to transfer to Batten U will be assigned an academic advisor and issued a Batten University student ID. They will have full access to the campus - including use of the library and fitness center, and free admission to athletic and cultural events - before they even become students here. And, students who have attained a 3.0 GPA at the completion of their first year at a two-year institution will be eligible to concurrently enroll in two 300-level Batten University courses during their sophomore year.
